Position

Manager, Administration

Job purpose

To provide operational support for the effective management of material resources of the Unit.

Main duties and Responsibilities

  1. Supervises the collection of data for the formulation of administrative policies, guidelines and procedures.
  2. Implements programmes and activities of the Unit.
  3. Complies with the relevant Laws and Management System Standards.
  4. Implements managements systems within the Unit.
  5. Facilitates the organisation of meetings, seminars, conferences and workshops

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited tertiary institution in any of the following fields: Business/Public Administration, Social Sciences or other related disciplines.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Business Administration or other relevant equivalent disciplines.
  • Must have completed National Service.
  • A minimum of one (1) years post bachelor’s degree relevant work experience in a reputable organization.
  • Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Authority in collaboration with the Public Services Commission. 

Position

Chief Driver

Job Purpose

To provide operational support for the management of the transport function of the Authority.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conveys assigned officials, goods and equipment to and from designated destinations.
  2. Ensures availability of log books in official vehicles.
  3. Ensures logging of trip details in log books.
  4. Ensures the maintenance of pre and post trip assessment records.
  5. Facilitates the investigation of incidents involving official vehicles.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of BECE Certificate.
  • A professional level qualification or industry skill-based certification in auto-mechanics.
  • A valid driving license not below ‘D’ class.
  • A minimum ten (10) years post license relevant work experience.
  • Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Authority in collaboration with Public Services Commission.

Position

Senior Driver

Job Purpose

To provide operational support for the management of the transport function of the Authority.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conveys assigned officials, goods and equipment to and from designated destinations.
  2. Logs trip details in log books.
  3. Performs pre and post trip assessment of vehicles.
  4. Facilitates the investigation of incidents involving official vehicles.
  5. Periodically examines vehicles and submits reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of a BECE Certificate.
  • A professional level qualification or industry skill-based certification in auto-mechanics.
  • A valid driving license not below ‘D’ class.
  • A minimum eight (8) years post license relevant work experience.
  • Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Authority in collaboration with Public Services Commission.

Position

Driver Grade 1

 Job Purpose

To provide operational support for the management of the transport function of the Authority.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conveys assigned officials, goods and equipment to and from designated destinations.
  2. Logs trip details in log books.
  3. Performs pre and post trip assessment of vehicles.
  4. Facilitates the investigation of incidents involving official vehicles.
  5. Periodically examines vehicles and submits reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of BECE Certificate.
  • A professional level qualification or industry skill-based certification in auto-mechanics.
  • A valid driving license not below ‘D’ class.
  • A valid driving license with “A” class is required for a Despatch Rider.
  • A minimum six (6) years post license relevant work experience.
  • Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Authority in collaboration with Public Services Commission.
