Mr Jonathan Kwasi Azasoo holds MSc in Statistics and Economics and Certificate in Development Planning. He is also an expert in Local Governance and Decentralization. Mr Azasoo has had 30 years of professional and practical experience in the Local Government System in Ghana. He has been involved in decentralised Planning, Budgeting, Monitoring and Evaluation for the past 30 years at local and national levels. He is an expert in Public Financial Management. Mr Azasoo has served on a number of Boards and Committees as a technical Advisor in Ghana. He also has an in-depth knowledge in Procurement, water and sanitation. Mr Azasoo was a part-time lecturer at the Institute of Local Government Studies for 5 years in Ghana. Specifically he lectures on Local Government Financial Management for Masters level Graduates. Mr Azasoo is a professional Member of Ghana Institute of Planners and International Statistics Institute at The Hague, Netherlands.  Currently, Mr Azasoo works with the National Development Planning Commission as a Senior Technical Advisor to the Director General and the Commission.  Hither to, Mr Azasoo was the Head of Development Coordination Division at the National Development Planning Commission
